French Creek Community Theater

French Creek Community Theater welcomes and encourages involvement from students. 

 

Student Leadership

Students interested in leadership roles are encouraged to complete the Student-Leadership-Request-Form and talk with our director, Doug Burdick. 

  

Highschool Senior Scholarship

French Creek Community Theater desires to support high school seniors who have contributed to FCCT productions during their high school years. 

Criteria:

* Must participate in five FCCT shows grades 9-12 with at least one show during his/her senior year. This includes cast, pit and crew.
* Must complete the application and a 1 page essay describing:

“How participation in Community Theater has benefited me throughout high school… OR
“How participation in Community Theater can benefit me in the future…”

Application and Essay must be submitted to Doug Burdick, Leanne Severo, Jen Foxman or mailed to:

SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATION FORM with attached essays must be received by March 15th of applicant’s senior year.

 

Disney Trip

FCCT has created the opportunity for youth participants to travel to Disney World and participate workshops and performances.  To qualify, students in grades 7 – 12 must have participated in at least SIX shows.  This is a great time for participants to bond and grow friendships and acting/singing skills.  There is a fee.  Many youths work together to raise money to offset the cost of the trip. 

The next trip is scheduled for late 2012.   It will be 2015 before we take the next trip.  So…join in the fun at the theater and start “banking” those shows so you can come!
